Haemodialysis is a treatment for patients with kidney failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

It is a life-saving procedure done through a Dialysis Machine that removes waste products, excess water and toxins from the blood, and the cleaned blood is then returned to the patient’s body.

Haemodialysis is typically performed 3 times a week, with each session lasting about 4 hours.

At Hope Dialysis, haemodialysis is done using state-of-the-art Nipro Surdial-X machines.

Peritoneal dialysis (PD) is a treatment for patients with kidney failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

The process involves exchanging dialysis fluid (dialysate), into and out of the peritoneal cavity (patient’s abdomen) by a catheter.

It is generally considered a gentler form of dialysis and may help preserve residual kidney function to some extent.

PD can be performed at home, with flexible treatment schedules and reducing frequent visits to a dialysis centre.

Patients are not exposed to other patients at the dialysis centre thereby reducing the risk of acquiring infections.

Peritoneal Dialysis

Nocturnal Haemodialysis

Nocturnal haemodialysis which can be done at night while the patient can sleep.

It is performed over 7 to 8 hours compared to the usual 4 hours and imparts flexibility for patients who have work commitments in the day.

Research has shown that Nocturnal Dialysis results in better clinical outcomes.
